First Aid at Work

At the workplace, if somebody suffers an injury or falls ill, it is important that they receive immediate and appropriate attention. First Aid at Work covers the arrangements you must make to ensure this happens. It can save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming major ones.

The First Aid at Work course covers first aid definition & aims, regulations, kits, record keeping and responsibilities; unconsciousness, recovery position, cardio pulmonary resuscitation, choking, asthma, shock, fainting, anaphylactic shock, heart attack, bleeding, bites and stings, head injuries, stroke, epilepsy, diabetes, burns and scalds, fractures, dislocations, spinal injuries, sprains and strains, poisons, and effects of heat and cold.

Assessment Method
20-question multiple-choice paper and practical assessment in front of two independent assessors.
